SSA are currently working with a Tier 2 M&E Contractor seeking to hire a Mechanical Site Supervisor based in Dublin working on healthcare and data centre projects.
Role Purpose:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, good organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, suppliers, and client representatives on site.
Duties include (but not limited to):-Supervise daily site activities, coordinating subcontractors and workforce to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
-Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
-Promote a strong health and safety culture through inspections, toolbox talks, and compliance with H&S procedures.
-Coordinate activities between trades, clients, consultants, and project teams to maintain programme and resolve site issues.
-Support commissioning, snagging, inspections, and project handover while maintaining accurate site documentation and reports.
-Manage material deliveries, logistics, and site resources to ensure efficient project execution and high housekeeping standards.
Requirements :
- 5–10 years' experience supervising construction projects across commercial, industrial, or residential sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, site operations, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good knowledge of health & safety legislation, site compliance, and industry best practices.
- Trade-qualified or construction-related qualification with relevant safety certifications; supervisory training is advantageous
