A well-established engineering consultancy is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead projects from planning and design through construction. This senior role offers the chance to manage multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and deliver complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities - Lead design and construction of reservoirs, pumping stations, and water/wastewater mains
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and risk
- Conduct engineering studies, asset management, and Class Environmental Assessments
- Prepare design reports, specifications, tender packages, cost estimates, and approval applications
- Oversee construction contract administration and site inspection
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate project teams
- Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, approval authorities, and contractors
- Support business development through proposals and fee estimates
Qualifications - P.Eng. licensed in Ontario with 10+ years’ experience
- Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater systems
- Proven project management and independent delivery skills
- Experience with planning, design, construction administration, and approvals
