Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit-Out
Location: London
Salary: Competitive + Package (DOE)
The Company
Our client is a well-established fit-out contractor delivering high-quality Cat A and Cat B schemes across London's commercial office and workplace sectors. With a strong pipeline of projects for blue-chip clients and developers, they're looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced QS.
The Role

• Take commercial ownership of fit-out projects from post-contract award through to final account
• Prepare monthly valuations, applications for payment, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs)
• Procure and negotiate with specialist subcontractors and suppliers across M&E, joinery, partitioning, flooring, and finishes packages
• Measure and price variations, managing the change control process with clients and design teams
• Prepare and agree final accounts, protecting commercial position throughout
• Identify and manage commercial risk, reporting to the Commercial Manager/Director
• Build strong working relationships with clients, main contractors, and design teams
• Support pre-construction with cost planning and tender adjudication where required
• Attend site and client progress meetings, ensuring commercial and operational alignment

About You

• Proven QS experience within commercial fit-out (Cat A/Cat B office, workplace, or similar)
• Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
• Confident managing final accounts and commercial risk on fast-paced, design-led projects
• Experience working directly with clients and design teams on London-based schemes
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
