Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Flooring
Location: London
Salary: Competitive + Package (DOE)
The Company
Our client is a specialist commercial flooring contractor with a strong track record delivering high-quality finishes across office, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developments in London. With a healthy secured pipeline and long-standing relationships with tier-1 main contractors, they're looking to add an experienced QS to their commercial team.
The Role

• Manage the commercial function on flooring packages, from post-contract award through to final account
• Prepare monthly valuations, applications for payment, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs)
• Procure and negotiate with specialist subcontractors and suppliers across raised access flooring, resin, carpet tile, LVT, and screed packages
• Measure and price variations, managing the change control process with clients and main contractors
• Prepare and agree final accounts, protecting commercial position throughout
• Identify and manage commercial risk, reporting into the Commercial Manager/Director
• Build strong working relationships with tier-1 main contractors and design teams
• Support pre-construction with cost planning and tender adjudication where required
• Attend site and progress meetings, ensuring commercial and operational alignment

About You

• Proven QS experience within commercial flooring or a related interiors/fit-out package
• Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
• Confident managing final accounts and commercial risk on fast-paced, design-led projects
• Experience working with tier-1 main contractors on London-based schemes
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
