Senior Flood Engineer | Sydney

I am seeking an experienced Senior Flood Engineer to join a growing Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on greater technical leadership, project responsibility and client exposure.
  
The Opportunity

• Lead flood modelling and flood management projects across Australia
• Work across urban development, stormwater and infrastructure projects
• Manage project delivery, budgets, programmes and technical outcomes
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
• Build strong relationships with clients, authorities and project stakeholders
• Contribute to proposals, business development and winning new work
• Develop practical, innovative and commercially sound engineering solutions

About You

• 8+ years’ experience in civil/flood engineering
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience in flood modelling and flood management
• Proficiency with TUFLOW, RORB/WBNM, HEC-RAS and GIS
• Experience with DRAINS/stormwater modelling highly regarded
• Understanding of Australian design standards and local/state approval processes
• Residential subdivision experience across earthworks, roads and drainage advantageous
• Strong project management, communication and client-facing skills
