About the role: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager for a South East London Development. Competitive salary plus package.

 

About the Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist team to write scope of works, chase technical information for tender packages and track procurement timescales to ensure subcontract packages are let in time to meet site commencement dates.
  • Monitor and control subcontractor performance and take mitigating action when required. Ensuring that reporting is correct and accurate
  • Lead the team under your control, effectively communicate with colleagues and peers both in written, verbal and presentational format.
  • Check quality compliance for Subcontractors, Supervision and Management and end product.
  • Report on all aspects of the project including Programme, Progress, Quality, Cost, Key Issues and Delivery.
  • Solve problems quickly and efficiently and articulate the management of same formally through the management protocols.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of H&S Management on the project.
  • Ensure that Customer and Client needs are identified, and relationships are up held; Maintain responsibility for Customer Care Issues on completed homes.
  • Be able to effectively plan, execute and reschedule programmes working with the planners and team. Manage and mitigate resilience in the programme and effectively report same to the supply chain, senior management and board.
  • Working widely in a very multi-disciplinary team, alongside all departments of the Berkeley business including Land & planning, estates and sales and marketing. Considering their needs and the needs of our customers above all.

 

About the Requirements:

 

  • Prior knowledge and experience of site set up, logistics, developing build strategy and planning.
  • SMSTS / CSCS qualifications
  • Strong experiences within this role
