Our client a tier one civil engineering contractor has recently been awarded a scheme for Highways England in Essex and require a Section Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
As Section Engineer you will be required to:
- Produces Method Statements and Risk Assessments and undertakes periodic reviews
- Carry out complex setting out
- Produces Activity Control Plans / Inspection and Test Plans and obtains approval
- Produces a weekly programme and measures progress against KPI’s
- Maintains accurate diary, including dialogue with external organisations (subcontractors)
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent
- CSCS
- SMSTS – Desirable
- Strong knowledge of construction process in one or more of the following areas: Earthworks/Drainage, Structures, Roadworks
