Site Engineer Permanent Location: Midlands and Warwickshire (various projects)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
The Site Engineer Role: The purpose of this site engineer role is to provide site engineering duties to a number of civils and highways projects within the region. The Site Engineer will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.
Experience required for the site engineer role:
• Experienced in project engineering large civil engineering/infrastructure schemes, up to 5m in value.
• Experience Experienced in project engineering and coordinating complex design and pre-construction stages.
• Adeptness in delivering high-level compliance and assurance across all aspects of the project.
• Expert in developing and cultivating collaborative working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication qualities to manage an engineering team of 1-2 people in terms of project outputs and team and individual development.
• Excellent engineering principles knowledge and setting out capability • Good problem solving and troubleshooting experience.
• (Knowledge of working to a high level of assurance in both design and construction, including all aspects of the life cycle of a national infrastructure construction project. Including Quality Assurance and Post Construction Work Package Plans) Benefits for the Site Engineer:
