Job Description

his company is currently seeking an experienced BIM Lead to join their team in Dublin. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing BIM operations across multiple projects while helping to develop and grow the internal BIM Department.

The successful candidate will have strong technical BIM capabilities, excellent attention to detail and proven leadership experience, with a particular focus on Mechanical/HVAC building services.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day BIM operations across the business, supporting BIM delivery across multiple projects.
• Drive the ongoing development and implementation of the company's BIM Strategy.
• Develop and refine BIM and Digital Construction processes to improve project delivery and operational efficiencies.
• Establish processes, teams and tools to support successful project execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage BIM activities within allocated project budgets and programmes.
• Manage the distribution and control of drawings and BIM information to project teams.
• Manage project file-sharing platforms and drawing/document control processes.
• Attend project handover meetings and ensure BIM requirements are clearly communicated and delivered.
• Lead and manage pre-construction BIM coordination activities, working closely with Design Teams and internal Project Teams.
• Manage BIM works schedules and ensure drawings and models are delivered to programme and required standards.
• Coordinate BIM activities across a portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery.
• Lead weekly internal BIM meetings and coordination huddles with the Projects Team.
• Support the continued development of the internal BIM Department, including processes, standards and team capabilities.
• Provide technical BIM guidance and support to project teams where required.

Requirements

• Relevant Building Services Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong experience within Mechanical/HVAC building services is essential.
• Proven experience working in a BIM management, BIM lead, BIM coordination or similar senior role.
• Experience managing BIM delivery across multiple projects or a portfolio of projects.
• Strong working knowledge of BIM software including Revit, Navisworks, ACC, BIM 360 and/or FORMA.
• Good understanding of Mechanical/HVAC building services design and coordination.
• Understanding of Electrical building services would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination, drawing management, document control and digital construction processes.
• Experience working through pre-construction and project delivery stages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Design Teams, Project Teams, clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership and responsibility for BIM delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Full Irish working rights / EU citizenship required — no visa sponsorship is provided.
