Are you an experienced Mechanical Services BIM professional looking for your next career move?
We’re currently recruiting for a BIM Manager / Lead to join a well-established mechanical services business in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Revit MEP expertise and proven leadership capabilities to take ownership of BIM and drafting operations across a range of building services projects.
Working closely with engineering, project management and construction teams, you’ll play a key role in driving BIM coordination, improving workflows and ensuring models are accurate, coordinated and ready for construction.

Working closely with engineering, project management and construction teams, you’ll play a key role in driving BIM coordination, improving workflows and ensuring models are accurate, coordinated and ready for construction.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing mechanical services BIM and drafting activities, supporting project delivery teams and maintaining high standards across modelling, coordination and documentation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing mechanical services modelling and drafting deliverables using Revit MEP.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary models and resolving clashes using Navisworks, Revizto and other BIM platforms.
- Maintaining BIM standards, model quality and coordination processes.
- Working closely with engineers, project managers, subcontractors and site teams.
- Managing competing project deadlines while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Identifying opportunities to improve BIM workflows, digital construction practices and overall project efficiency.
- 5–10 years’ experience in Mechanical Services BIM and Drafting.
- Previous experience leading or supervising BIM, VDC or drafting teams.
- Advanced Revit MEP skills and strong mechanical services modelling capability.
- Experience with Navisworks, Revizto and BIM coordination platforms.
- A solid understanding of BIM processes, model management and clash detection.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Services, Building Services or Drafting.
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Hospital and healthcare projects.
- Live construction environments.
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Developing BIM standards, templates and best-practice processes.
- Prefabrication and digital construction methodologies.
