SSA Recruitment are working with a well-established M&E Contractor seeking an Electrical Foreman for a major data centre project in Drogheda.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with supervisory experience to take on a key role overseeing electrical works on a large-scale data centre project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee electricians and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed in line with project schedules and specifications.
• Coordinate daily site activities and monitor progress against project deadlines.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations, drawings and technical specifications.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety across the site.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the installation process.
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment to support the efficient delivery of works.
• Liaise with site management, project teams and other trades to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
• Identify and report any issues that may affect programme, quality or site safety.
• Assist with inspections, testing, snagging and the completion of electrical works.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the electrical industry.
• Previous experience in an Electrical Foreman or supervisory role.
• Experience managing and coordinating project-based electrical works.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations.
• Experience working in live environments and occupied buildings.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Full clean driving licence.
• PSA, MEWP/IPAF and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
