SSA is recruiting Graduate, Intermediate & Quantity Surveyors on behalf of a reputable Main Building Contractor for permanent positions based in Cork.

About the role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will join an established commercial team delivering a diverse range of construction projects across Cork and West Cork.
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with or leading the commercial management of projects from inception through to final account
• Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Subcontractor procurement and account management
• Preparing valuations and managing variations
• Cost reporting and commercial administration
• Liaising with clients, consultants, site teams and subcontractors
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects while developing your commercial and contractual knowledge

Position requirements: Graduate Quantity Surveyor

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying (or due to graduate this year)
• Placement or internship experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
• 2–5 years' post-graduate experience
• Previous Main Contractor experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills

Quantity Surveyor

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
• 5+ years' post-graduate experience
• Previous Main Contractor experience
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Full driving licence preferred
• Valid working rights within Ireland
