SSA is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a reputable Main Building Contractor for a permanent position based in Cork City / West Cork.
About the role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of construction projects from inception through to final account. Your responsibilities will include cost planning and control, subcontractor procurement and management, valuations, variation management, cost reporting, forecasting, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, clients, and design consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

Position requirements: - Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 5+ years' post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Previous experience with a Main Contractor
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard QS software
- Full driving licence
- Valid working rights within Ireland
