HSEQ Manager – M&E

SSA are recruiting an HSEQ Manager on behalf of a Mechanical & Electrical contractor. You will oversee health, safety, environmental and quality standards across projects, supporting site teams and driving continuous improvement.

About the client
Our client is an M&E contractor delivering mechanical and electrical installations within the construction sector. This role will work closely with their management and project teams to maintain safe working practices, environmental standards and quality across their projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement HSEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
• Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Review risk assessments and method statements, supporting safe working practices.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying causes and preventative measures.
• Deliver HSEQ training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance and report on health, safety, environmental and quality matters.

Requirements

• Experience managing HSEQ within M&E contracting or construction.
• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent relevant health and safety qualification.
• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations and reviewing RAMS.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to improving standards.
