The Company:

A mechanical services contractor specialising in the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and building services across data centre, commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. 

About the Role:

The Jr Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Project Management with the delivery of mechanical building services installations on data centre projects across Ireland. Occasional travel sites abroad is mandatory with the role. 

Working closely with the project management, design, and site teams, the Jr Mechanical Engineer will ensure that mechanical systems are installed to specification, compliant with local regulations, delivered safely, and meet project quality and commissioning requirements.

This is an on-site role requiring strong technical ability, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years’ experience in mechanical building services or construction engineering
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial, data centre, or pharmaceutical projects 
• Knowledge of Irish and EU construction standards and regulations beneficial
• Must hold an EU passport as occasional travel to sites in mainland Europe is mandatory
