Project Manager | Brisbane

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Brisbane construction business delivering projects up to $10M.
  
The business specialises in new-build childcare centres, veterinary and medical fit-outs, as well as a range of commercial construction projects.
  
We are looking for a commercially strong Project Manager with a site-based background — someone who understands how projects come together on site while being highly capable with budgets, forecasting and cost control.
  
About the Role

• Manage projects from commencement through to completion
• Take ownership of budgets, cost control, forecasting and variations
• Manage programmes, procurement and subcontractors
• Coordinate clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams
• Monitor quality, safety, programme and commercial performance
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Strong cost control and commercial management skills
• Previous experience in a site-based role such as Site Manager, Supervisor or Foreman
• Experience delivering projects in the $2M–$10M+ range
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant construction/building qualifications highly regarded

Experience across childcare, medical, veterinary, fit-out or new-build projects would be advantageous.
