Senior Electrical Estimator - Construction

Location: GTA | Full-Time
 
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support a growing pipeline of ICI projects. This role focuses on preparing accurate, competitive bids across commercial, institutional, and industrial environments.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Prepare detailed material and labour take-offs
• Build complete estimates including materials, equipment, labour, and subcontract costs
• Coordinate pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Service teams, and Foremen to validate estimates
• Participate in site visits, tender reviews, and project hand-offs
• Assess project risks, opportunities, and overall bid strategy
• Support proposal development and ensure all closing documentation is complete

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of electrical estimating experience (ICI projects)
• Strong knowledge of retrofit and renovation work
• Proficiency with Accubid, LiveCount, and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines
