Role Overview
The Technical Services Coordinator will support the successful delivery of fit-out and construction projects by coordinating technical information between design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, Contracts Manager, and project teams, you will ensure that drawings, specifications, RFIs, technical submissions, and project documentation are managed efficiently and kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
The role involves coordinating technical information, supporting design reviews, tracking project documentation, and assisting with material approvals, commissioning, and project handover to help ensure projects are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and in line with company procedures.
This is a site and office-based coordination role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the flow of technical information between design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Manage and maintain project documentation, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Track and monitor Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and design changes.
• Assist in reviewing drawings and technical details to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support the procurement and approval process for materials, samples, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Services information where required.
• Attend project meetings and record actions relating to technical and design matters.
• Ensure project records are accurately maintained and updated.
• Support project teams during commissioning, handover, and close-out stages.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with health & safety, quality, and company procedures
Requirements
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within construction, fit-out, or building services is desirable.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational and document control skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with document management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
