I am seeking an experienced Commercial Manager on behalf of a leading Main Contractor for major construction projects across Germany. The successful candidate will join an experienced project team and take responsibility for the commercial management and financial performance of projects.

The company has a strong pipeline of work across Europe, making this a long-term opportunity with excellent career progression.

About the company
Our client is a well-established and respected Main Contractor delivering complex construction and technical projects across Europe. They have experience across sectors including residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, data centre and high-tech projects.

About the role:
Salary: €110,000 - €120,000 & Living Abroad Package
Major Construction Projects.
Full-time permanent position.

Your main duties will include:

• Managing valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Managing subcontractor and supplier accounts.
• Reviewing contracts and identifying commercial issues.
• Supporting procurement and planning teams.
• Maintaining accurate commercial records.
• Working with the wider project team to maintain commercial control.
• Managing and supporting junior commercial staff.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• 10+ years’ commercial experience, preferably with a Main Contractor.
• Previous construction or civil engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, valuations and final accounts.
• Chartered or working towards chartership with SCS.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and team management experience.
