Senior Project Planner - Essex

SSA are currently recruiting for a senior planner role for one of the leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering contractors in Europe. The candidate will join a young and enthusiastic team to play an active role in the project management of many different project delivery work, implementing strategies to orchestrate the planning, scheduling and controlling processes. 

Key responsibilities:

• Provide efficient support to the project manager when necessary 
• Be a mentor to planners and personnel below your line of duty 
• Co-ordinate programmes by ensuring the planning process is carried out
• Review progress reports in order to provide warnings and solutions for potential risks
• Create an effective construction schedule with the contractor and Project manager based on a high targeted schedule

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• capable of proving ability of developing and fulfilling plans
• Strong multitasker capable of handling multiple project plans 
• Innovative and strong customer service skills
