Site Superintendent (Night Shift) - ICI Construction
 
Location: Ottawa, ON

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 (Based on Experience)
 
Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong presence in the Ottawa market and is looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to their team.
 
This position is ideal for a Superintendent who enjoys working independently and is comfortable managing multiple ICI Construction Projects during night shifts while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and schedule.
 
Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities during night shifts across multiple ICI projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Ensure all work complies with project drawings, specifications, building codes, and company quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and maintain detailed daily site reports.
• Enforce site safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate inspections and address deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants, clients, and trades to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and resolve site issues while minimizing impacts to schedule and budget.
• Maintain clean, organized, and secure job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI construction projects in the Ottawa area.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial construction practices.
• Thorough understanding of Ontario Building Code and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
