I am seeking a Site Manager on behalf of a highly reputable Contractor for a new €22m project in Carlow, which they will be commencing work on in the coming weeks.
The company in question are a forward thinking, progressive company who are going through a major growth phase. They have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned projects, and are soon commencing works on a €22m project in Carlow. They are looking for a Site Manager to come in and manage the day-to-day operations of the site, reporting into the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
The company have a lot of work in the pipeline so this is a permanent, long-term position with the company. €65k +vehicle/allowance on offer.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for complete day to day operations of the site, including the coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Contracts Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget, whilst maintaining high safety, environmental and quality standards.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
- Trade Qualifications (Carpentry), or Construction related qualification
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
- Extensive experience in management of sub-contractors.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage personnel.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience work at Foreman/Site Manager level
