Are you a Contract Administrator looking to join a builder that offers genuine

Our client is an established commercial builder with an excellent reputation across Brisbane, delivering high-quality fitout and refurbishment projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team.

This role offers exposure to projects ranging from $150K to $20M, with the average project currently sitting around $2M. As the business continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to work on increasingly larger and more complex projects.

Projects span a variety of commercial and educational facilities, including schools, tertiary campuses, laboratories, classrooms, theatres, restaurants, and other campus buildings. If you're looking for variety and want to avoid working on the same type of project repeatedly, this is an excellent opportunity.
Working closely with the Project Managers and site teams, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final accounts, ensuring projects are delivered successfully while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and letting subcontract packages.
• Procurement of trades and suppliers.
• Managing subcontractor claims and variations.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management.
• Progress claims and payment schedules.
• Contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Contract Administrator with a commercial builder.
• Experience delivering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• A stable employment history demonstrating commitment and performance.
