What you’ll be doing:
In this position you will be responsible for assisting with the overall construction project including
quality control, relations with Owner, design team and subcontractors. Duties will include assisting with:
• Managing and organizing the project documents including receiving and distributing proposal
request, supplemental instructions and change request.
• Scoping out proposal request, distributing information to subcontractors and supplier involved,
assembling pricing from subcontractors, organizing pricing with required back up and
developing PCOs (pending change order) for presentation to Owner and design team.
• When PCO are approved issuing change orders to subcontractors, updating documents in
Procore, and notifying and assisting field staff in implementing the change.
• Participating in Owner and design team meetings.
• Participating in weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Updating overall project schedule based on current progress.
• Receiving, organizing, and submitting RFIs (request for information). Working with the design
team to get a timely and complete response and distributing responses to all subcontractors
and field staff.
• Assisting with safety and risk management and continuous improvement planning.
What candidate should have:
• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil, Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years managing complete projects.
• Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, contracts, billing, and forecasting.
• Experience with MS Office and Projects as well as Procore.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
