About the Company: My client is an established multi-disciplined contractor operating within the Construction, Civils, Rail & Groundworks sectors across London. Main Contract works consist of new builds, refurbs, structural alterations across the healthcare, commercial, residential, education sectors.
About the Role: Their Main Contract Division is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Quantity Surveyor for a Design & Build Hospital project in NW London, reporting to the Commercial Lead.
Candidates must have a proactive, hard-working and enthusiastic attitude and be able to interrelate with all members of site teams and clients to ensure effective relationships are established and successful delivery of the projects
- Manage the majority of the Sub-Contract Accounts
- Collate Sub-Contract orders
- Set Up Sub-Contractors on the accounts system
- Chair Sub-Contract account meetings and minute the same.
- Technical Input in to the monthly CVRs and Forecast documents
- Provide Monthly Payment Notices to the Sub-Contractors
- Provide internal cashflow analyses
- Assist the Commercial Lead with monthly internal commercial reports
- Ensure that the Project filing System is maintained adequately
- Work alongside the Production Team to control costs and ensure the correct records are being kept.
- Appropriately represent the company with all Project and Third-Party personnel.
- Assist the Commercial Lead with Change Management on the project
- Assist the Commercial Lead in any potential claim recovery requirements
About the Requirements:

- Appropriate RICS / Degree Qualification
- Must have 5 years post degree experience in the industry
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in Design and Build is essential
- Experience in Healthcare is essential
